Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ClassSnapp platform ("Platform"), including our website, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

If you are a parent or guardian using the Platform on behalf of a minor, you accept these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their use of the Platform.

2. Description of Service

ClassSnapp is an online tutoring marketplace that connects students (Grades 1–12, CBSE/ICSE/state boards) with qualified tutors for live, interactive academic sessions. The Platform provides course browsing, session booking, live classrooms with whiteboard and video, assessments, and related educational services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on the Platform. Students under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian create and manage the account on their behalf. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • One account may have multiple family members linked to it. All members share access to students, credits, and bookings associated with the account.
  • ClassSnapp reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Bookings and Credits

  • Sessions are booked using credits purchased through the Platform. Credit packages and pricing are displayed at the time of purchase.
  • Each session is 45 minutes. Sessions must be booked in advance from available tutor slots.
  • Cancellation of a booked session restores the credit to your account, provided cancellation is made at least 2 hours before the scheduled session.
  • Credits are non-transferable and are linked to your account.

6. Session Conduct

During live sessions, users agree to:

  • Behave respectfully toward tutors and other participants.
  • Not record, screenshot, or redistribute session content without prior written consent.
  • Not use the Platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
  • Ensure a suitable learning environment (stable internet, working microphone/camera).

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including course materials, assessments, whiteboard content, and software — is the property of ClassSnapp or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without express permission.

8. Tutor Relationship

Tutors on ClassSnapp are independent service providers, not employees of ClassSnapp. While we vet tutors through a rigorous recruitment process, ClassSnapp does not guarantee specific learning outcomes. We strive to match students with qualified tutors based on subject, grade, and availability.

9. Payments and Refunds

  • All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. ClassSnapp does not store your payment card details.
  • Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team for refund inquiries.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassSnapp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or reliance on any information provided through the Platform.

11. Modifications to Terms

ClassSnapp reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
